North East Indie Book Fest 2026

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! 🥹📚❤️

Well… North East Indie Book Fest 2026… WHAT A DAY ON SATURDAY! 😱📚 I honestly don’t quite know where to start because I’m still processing it all! 😂

I was incredibly fortunate to be asked to be a guest speaker, and I have to say, I was absolutely blown away by the welcome I received. The feedback, the kind words, the encouragement and the sheer warmth from everyone were genuinely humbling. ❤️

I met some absolutely spectacular people, chatted with some wonderful fellow authors, laughed A LOT, ate ridiculously good food and had quite possibly the best day!

And then there’s the small matter of the books… 🤯 The event was absolutely packed, and somehow, little old me managed to sell a full box and a half of books! 😳📚 I genuinely cannot believe it. - THANK YOU 🙏🏻.

To every single person who came over, chatted to me, listened to me speak, supported me, bought a book, told me they were looking forward to reading it, or simply stopped to say hello — THANK YOU.

Every single sale means more to me than I can possibly put into words. Writing can be a very solitary little world, so having people actually want to read the things that have been rattling around inside my head is pretty bloody amazing! 😂❤️

A HUGE thank you and congratulations to Karen and Ryan from Crear Publishing for putting on such a magnificent event. You created something really special and should be incredibly proud. 👏❤️

And Chloe and the team at Field and Fodder — THANK YOU for the outstanding charcuterie! 🧀🥖🍇 It was absolutely delicious…

Yesterday was everything I could have hoped for and more. I’m incredibly grateful, ridiculously excited, slightly overwhelmed and probably still running on adrenaline! 😂

Thank you all for making the entire event so special. You lot are absolutely bloody brilliant. ❤️📚

Now… I suppose I’d better get back to writing Book 3, hadn’t I?! 👀😂✍️
